Seeking the correct advice prior to your move is essential and choosing a reputable box shipping company to move your possessions is key. Our customs-approved bonded warehouse benefits from the addition of CCTV security cameras, which ensures that once your boxes have been collected, they will be safe and secure during storage or while we build our next shared/groupage service. All our staff are members of various International Associations, and expertly trained, so you can rest assured that your boxes will be professionally handled at all times.

Our box shipping quotes are based on volume and these can be tweaked to suit your individual requirements. No, we just ask that prior to shipping your boxes from the UK, we are given a contact address plus contact details. Once your boxes have arrived in Australia and have been through the necessary customs clearance and quarantine formalities, it is at this point we will require a delivery address. If you are not in a position to provide one, however, do not worry, as we can arrange storage on your behalf.
Do you offer box insurance?
When it comes to relocation, it is vitally important to consider taking out insurance. If you are packing the boxes yourself, we are able to offer a total loss policy, but if we are professionally packing your boxes for you, then we can provide an all risks marine transit insurance policy. If we are collecting owner pre-packed boxes, however, they will prepare the box shipment for transit. These will be checked to ensure they adhere to international moving standards and are in good condition for the journey; if not, we may suggest that we repack for you at an additional cost. For your security and peace of mind, each individual item will be numbered and listed on a specialised inventory form, and a copy will be provided for your records. We will then load our vehicle and return to our depot where we will consolidate your shipment into a groupage/shared container service prior to sending to Australia.
Once my box shipping has arrived in Australia from the UK, what happens next?
Before your consignment arrives in port, you will be contacted, and once it has arrived, we will arrange for your boxes to be customs cleared by Australian Customs and Border Protection Services. To assist us with your clearance, you will be required to complete an unaccompanied effects statement, which is an Australian customs form B534. This can be completed in the UK prior to your departure, or in Australia if you prefer. Do no worry if your boxes arrive in Australia before you do, as a member of your family or a friend in Australia can be assigned to act on your behalf. If you know this is going to be the case, you must complete the Australian customs from B534 yourself before departing the UK. You will also be required to present the following information to Australian Customs. Once customs and quarantine formalities have been completed, we will then require a delivery address for your boxes.
Will there be additional charges to pay?
We base our extended quotation on a door-to-door service, which includes terminals and custom clearance formalities. This does not include, however, customs inspection fees, customs duty or taxes on new goods, or goods that do not meet the unaccompanied effects ruling and the Australian Quarantine inspections (AQIS), which are mandatory in Australia. Australian Quarantine inspection fees are also not included in any of our extended quotations, and these need to be paid directly to our colleagues in Australia.
What about payments and deposits?
Prior to shipping and once the collection date has been agreed between both parties, our booking department will require a 15% deposit to be paid. Once your boxes have been collected, we will provide you with a final balance invoice, which needs to be made within 72 hours of it being issued – this is in accordance with our trading terms. Once payment has been received, your specified removal date will be entered into our system and scheduled as per your quoted terms.
